Whores of Thrones

There have been a few lewd games taking on Game of Thrones and I would have to say that Whores of Thrones is one of the best. This game features some gorgeous character models that pretty much anyone can appreciate. However, I will say that in order to get the most out of this game you do have to be fairly familiar with the TV show. If you are not, most of what is going on will probably not do anything for you.

Each Character Has Their Own Tale

One of the things that I have to give the peeps behind Whores of Thrones a ton of credit for is how they have multiple characters with their own stories to experience. I do not want to go into spoilers, but getting to see some of these iconic characters in these situations is pretty cool.

For the most part, they capture the Game of Thrones feels very well here. I liked how the characters acted (well for the most part) and think that the people who made the game are clearly big fans. My only gripe with the story is that some of the dialogue can be a bit long-winded, but you could say that about the actual show.

It Is Like I Am There!

This is a great-looking game. When you make a game that is parodying a famous show, movie, or whatever you have to nail the characters and nail them the Whores of Thrones team did! Your favorites are here and they all look great, they did a tremendous job here, with the backgrounds as well.

There is also more animation than I thought there would be. I thought for sure this would just be static screens, but there is some nice animation in the XXX scenes that makes things even better! My only complaint with the presentation is Ned, his head seems way too big for his body, but to be fair I think he only stands out because the rest are so good.

Let Me Check My Diary

This is a game where the choices you make actually feel like they matter. That is what I think sets Whores of Thrones apart from other similar kinds of visual novel games. In the show, actions have consequences and that rings true for the game too. The choices you have to make are great and are very fitting for the Game of Thrones universe. For example, you may have a choice between convincing someone to do something or you can just straight up threaten them to do what you want.

I find games like these usually struggle to tell the player what they need to do, but this game has a neat journal that each character has which helps point you in the right direction. While things can still be confusing (I did have to look online for Arya’s section) it is better than what many other games of this style offer.

Pros:

• It is great if you are a GOT fan
• I liked the portrayal of most of the characters
• These characters look great
• It has more animation than I thought it would
• The stories are very well written

Cons:

• Some of the dialogue goes on a tad too long
• If you are not a fan of the series you may not get into this
