Wands and Witches

I have played a few lewd games set in the Harry Potter universe and Wands and Witches is the latest one. This is a lewd visual novel that is made with Ren’Py so that right there gives you an idea of the kind of game that you can expect here. It is a rather interesting game, but I will say right off the bat that I do feel you need to be into the world of Harry Potter to truly appreciate this game. Those who are not into Harry Potter will probably get bored rather quickly.

The Lewd Wizarding World Of Hogwarts

The story sees you getting to pick between playing as a male or female character. You get to name your character and then you are off to Diagon Alley where you get to start your adventure of becoming a wizard!

The story has a fair bit of charm to it and seeing different Harry Potter characters act in this bizarre way got a chuckle out of me. The thing with the story is that you do need to have a prior knowledge of the characters to get the best out of it. This along with the fact that there is only a handful of characters that the story is based around may lead to some people losing interest in things.

Potter With His Pants Down

The game is a visual novel game and you need to chat with characters to try and buildup your stats so that they will like you. If they like you, they will probably have sex with you. Wands and Witches is not doing anything that you have not done in a visual novel here and if you are into the Harry Potter franchise you will probably stick with things just to see where they lead.

I liked some of the stuff you could do in the game such as trashing Hermione’s reputation which was fun and getting caught by Snape when looking for Harry. It is stuff like this that kept me invested. There is not exactly a ton of choice when it comes to dialogue and that did make things get a tad reparative if I am being honest with you. The combat that is on offer here is quite simplistic, but getting to use spells is pretty cool.

The Magic Of Hand!

The game features some great hand-drawn artwork. I liked how the characters in Wands and Witches were recognizable, but they had a lewd and “adult” look to them to set them apart from the characters we know and love. In my experience, most games that are made with Ren’Py tend to go for a more realistic look to the visuals so it was cool to see this one go for a cartoon vibe.

There are some sexy characters here, but there could be far more XXX content if you ask me. What is here is good, I just really wish that there was more of it. Who knows this could be added in a future update?
