Vertigo is a game where players take control of a ball and must steer it through a futuristic environment at high speed. You need to have extreme precision to be able to finish a stage, so Vertigo is a great way for you to put your reflexes to the test.

These types of games put together action and puzzles, and it is a great way challenge for those who want to prove themselves. You must complete all the tracks, and the more your progress, the harder they will get. You control a high-tech ball called xorb, and you must use it to finish tracks as fast as possible. You will come across checkpoints so that in case you fall off the stage, you will reappear at the nearest checkpoint you went through. You will also come across power-ups, that can help you traverse through these tracks even faster.

Game Modes

Vertigo has plenty of game modes, you can play the arcade more where there will be different paths for you to take, in story mode you will play through various different stages, and the more you play, the more stages you will unlock. There are also three multiplayer modes and even a bowling mini-game. Time trials are also available, and it is a great way for you to see just how fast you can fly through the stages.

You can customize the color of your xorb, giving it a more unique look. Sadly there are no other customization options other than that. However, changing its color can even help you follow your xorb better when traversing the stages at high speed. So go out there with your xorb, and see if you got what it takes to complete all the stages.

Vertigo is similar to games like Super Monkey Ball, where players control something and must use it to travel across a stage and reach the ending. These types of games can be played by either casual players, or by those who are seeking to try and finish all of the stages as quickly as possible. Vertigo was released back in 2008 for the Nintendo Wii, PSP, and Windows. Sadly, if you want to play the game, you will have a hard time finding it.

Unlike Super Monkey Ball, where players control the stage, in Vertigo you only control the ball. Sadly that takes away a little bit of the challenge of the game since it makes the game become a little easier in that aspect.

However the game has multiple modes that can be played in single or multiplayer, and at least the stages are interesting and well done. But at certain times, the speed that you traverse through the stages can be a little slower than what’s promised. The stages at some point get extremely hard, so that can be a shock for some players. Sadly the game is lacking in plenty of areas, and in the end, it feels like a poor copy of Marble Madness.
