In this first-person shooter, players are plunged into a frightening European landscape filled with unusual zombies. These aren’t the typical slow-moving, stupid zombies from other games. Instead, Ultimate Zombie Defense 2 has zombies who are smarter, faster, and meaner than any zombies ever seen before.

Players join forces in a 4-person Co-op to attempt to defeat these zombies and restore order to Europe once more. Although the game is geared towards co-op, solo play is available for those who prefer to go it alone.

Improvements on the Game

As Ultimate Zombie Defense 2 suggests, this is not the first game. The original Ultimate Zombie Defense was so popular, the developers took requests from players and worked them into a new version of the game. Players can expect the same great experience of fighting zombies they got from the original Ultimate Zombie Defense, but with smarter zombies and a greater variety of zombie types.

Fort Building

If you’ve never played the original, this game is more than just your average shooter. Players have to defend themselves from waves of on-coming zombies, but they’re also given a chance to build a fort of some kind to protect themselves between waves. This alone is enough to add a level of intrigue to an otherwise very standard game. If you find yourself overwhelmed by a zombie hoard, changing around the fort may be the key to getting through that wave.

Wide Variety of Firearms

A zombie game isn’t fun unless you have a proper stock of weapons to fight them off with. The developers of Ultimate Zombie Defense 2 have gone all out here, and provided a huge number of weapons for players to work with. On top of your usual shotguns, handguns and machine guns there’s also flame throwers, ray guns, and a few more unusual weapons.

Unique Bosses

The developers have also gone out of their way to make bosses special. Each boss is unique, with different moves designed to challenge even the most hardened soldier in battle. Test your skills against these incredibly detailed bosses and see if you have what it takes to take them down.

Competitive Gameplay

Curious about how your zombie fighting skills stack up against the worlds? A major feature of Ultimate Zombie Defense 2 is the score board, which tells you exactly how good you are compared to other fighters. Play, fight and win to reach the #1 spot on the scoreboard.

Ultimate Zombie Fighter 2 is still in its infancy, but from what we’ve seen it is a huge improvement on the original. The game features better graphics, improved gameplay, new zombies as well as old favorites, and lots of quality of life improvements. This is one of those few times where a remake of an old game makes sense. The developers have worked very hard to take what people loved about the original game, and what players wished for, and combined those to make a brand new game.
