Two Point Museum

In this creative management sim game, players get to experiment with running their own museum. Two Point Museum is an incredible game that rewards players for preparing quality exhibits. It does a great job of combining all the things that make a great tycoon—lots of different exhibits to play around with, the needs of the visitors to factor in, and a well-balanced financial system.

Hilarious Narrator

The narrator isn’t a necessary part of the game, but his dry sense of humor really adds to the game. This is a goofy game, and Two Point is unashamed to reveal that humor. The museum artifacts are often silly, such as an alien sculpture made out of cheese. The narrator and comments made to guests over the loudspeaker are just as hilarious. Throughout the game, the humor is consistent and matches well with the game.

Thoughtful Navigation

Two Point Museum has a lot of things to do, and that means lots of different controls and menus. Fortunately, the menus are easy to use. If your staff members are unhappy with their pay, a quick slider bar lets you boost their pay and watch their satisfaction change at the same time. Similar navigation is available for almost every single option in the game. If you’ve played some of their other games such as Two Point Campus or Two Point Hospital, you’ll know what to expect in terms of navigation.

Tons of Unlockable Content

One of the best features of the game is the unlockable content available. There are dozens, if not hundreds of things to unlock. This means you can play for hours on the same game and still feel like you’ve got more to do. Examples of unlockable content include new exhibits that require skilled staff members to retrieve, new security systems that protect your exhibits from crime, and more.

The game also keeps things fresh with different maps that look and feel fresh. In one museum you may be tasked with building a super creepy haunted house, in another it could be ancient computers. This variety helps keep the game feeling new each and every time.

Adjustable Difficulty

The game also offers a sandbox mode where the difficulty can easily be adjusted. This sandbox mode is great for letting you play specific scenarios, such as a museum free to the public. It can also be used if players are annoyed by the “Crime” feature that starts to get problematic towards the end of the game. Crime isn’t completely impossible to work with, but towards the end of the game entire exhibits can be stolen. If this gets too annoying, having an off switch can be a life saver.
