Total Degeneracy Island

I love lewd parody games, so when I came across Total Degeneracy Island, I knew I had to check it out, as I remember really liking the show this is based on.

Winner, Winner, Chicken Dinner!

This is based on the MTV show, Total Drama. The idea is that you are a contestant on this reality TV show set on an island. You need to try and win votes to stay on the island, and you do this by getting to know your fellow contestants and trying to make them like you. I was actually very impressed by the story, and I thought that it had more depth and wholesomeness than I was expecting.

Living La Vida Loca!

Total Degeneracy Island sees you needing to make key decisions as you chat to the other contestants. There are lots of contestants, and you will know your relationship status with them thanks to the meter each one has. You will need to take part in mini-games and ultimately hope you have done the right things in order to stay on the island. The game does have you doing a lot of the same things over and over again, but I found the gameplay loop to be pretty enjoyable if I am being honest.

Taking Me Back

I think that they capture the style and vibes of Total Drama really well with this game. It is very bright, there are many recognizable characters, and it looks just like the show, thanks to the cell-shaded look they have gone for. There are some great sex scenes in the game, but in my experience, they were pretty spread out, so you can go quite a while without seeing anything XXX in the game. For me, that just made it even more awesome when it would actually happen.

Pros:

• I liked the Total Drama references
• The character conversations were fun
• There is a decent amount of variety in the gameplay

Cons:

• You do have to repeat things quite often
• There could be more XXX content
