We are prouder than Splinter on Father's Day to bring you our special Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles games section. There have been TMNT games for over 30 years and we have the best selection of Turtles games here at Gamefabrique. You may be wondering what the best place to start is and that is what we are looking at today. Yes, we have all the best TMNT games for you, but here are a few personal picks to get you started on the right foot to kick The Foot’s butt with!

We are starting with not just what is the best of all the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles games, but one of the greatest games of the 16-bit era and that is Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles IV: Turtles in Time. The crazy thing about this is that this is one of the rare times when the home version was better than the arcade! This is just such a special game and a game that feels so rewarding to play. While it may not be as good as Turtles in Time, we do also have to mention, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: The Hyperstone Heist which is still a fantastic beat-em-up in its own right.

Now, when you talk about the best Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles games before 2022, the two we just mentioned always were at the top of the list. However, we now have TMNT: Shredder's Revenge which is one of the most awesome games ever made. This just captures the spirit and style of the 80s TMNT show perfectly. The gameplay is deep, you can play it with a bunch of friends and it has some amazing pixel art and an epic soundtrack that well and truly rocks!

Next up we have a game that is a bit of a hidden gem and that is Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Danger of the Ooze. This is based on the awesome 2012 series and is one of the more forgotten Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles games. This is a single player only TMNT game, but the twist here is that we have a Metroidvania style Ninja Turtles game! It has a great and fun story that features the voice cast from the show and it is just a really fun game to play through from start to end.

Another hidden gem when it comes to Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles games is Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Smash Up. While this may be more themed around the 2007, TMNT movie, especially in the way that the Turtles look, this is still one of the best TMNT games around. This is a fighting game in the same style as Super Smash Bros. There is a story mode, arcade mode, and some really cool unlockable extras for you guys that love your Turtles history.

Of course, we cannot be talking about the best and most memorable Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles games and not mention the hard as nails, but super nostalgic Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles for the NES. We do also have the sequels on the NES, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2: The Arcade Game, and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 3: The Manhattan Project as well. If you are interested in all the older and classic TMNT games, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: The Cowabunga Collection is what you need to check out as this collection has all of the NES, SNES, Game Boy, Genesis, and arcade Ninja Turtles games.

There are so many great Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles games and you can play them all right here at Gamefabrique. We advise you to go and grab some pizza (Michelangelo’s gross topping ideas to be used at your discretion) and have some fun playing these epic TMNT games.
