The Red Star is a shooter video game developed by Acclaim Studios Austin and released for PlayStation 2. The game is based on the comic book series of the same name created by Christian Gosett. The action of The Red Star takes place in an alternate reality where the Soviet Union (known as the United Republics of the Red Star) rules the world through magic and high technology.

Players take on the role of three protagonists, Maya Antiterrova, Kieran Kyle and Maxi Millian, who fight against the evil regime of Emperor Eamon and his army.
