I was very impressed with The Hole of Glory, and it is a rogue-like deck builder that I would like to see more of at some point.

Better Than A 9 to 5

I got a real kick out of the idea of there being a professional glory hole, and it makes me wonder if this is an actual thing, and it surely has to be right? Anyway, we play the role of a manager of a glory hole, and we have a couple of ladies (well, just one in the version I played), and we need to make sure that she is doing all of the right things to make the clients happy. The twist here is that the chicks can get too into what they are doing and start looking for their own self-interests.

So Much For Training Day!

No, I am not talking about the awesome Denzel Washington movie, but The Hole of Glory is the kind of game that desperately needs a training mode. The idea on paper sounds simple: you build a deck and use the right cards to make sure that your hot chick is happy and taking care of business. However, the game does not explain anything to you! I figured out all I did through trial and error. Also, the game is free, but most of the content, such as the second Judy Hopps looking character, is tied to a pay wall, and honestly, I am not sure they show enough in the free version to make me want to open up my wallet.

One thing that did keep me pressing forward was the visuals. This is a great-looking game with some very nice animation, and I liked the girl that I had working for me. The XXX content is very well done and even on the actual gameplay screen, things are pretty hot. I liked the look of the cards, too, and in general, this is a very good-looking game. I just wish that there were more in the free version. As I said, they really do not do enough to make you want to pay to go beyond what the free version is offering.

If you liked lewd deck-building games, I do think that this is worth checking out. However, just be warned that The Hole of Glory does not offer a real full experience unless you are willing to pay.
