Tentacle Slave

Tentacle Slave is a lewd text-based adventure game that is a rather interesting game in this relatively niche genre. This is one of those games that is really fun to discuss with others who have played it. The reason I say this is that this is a game where people have some very strong opinions and to be fair, it is easy to see why. This is not one of the stronger games in the genre, but there is something about it that I find hilarious, granted, it is not supposed to be funny, but these days you have to take whatever enjoyment you can get out of things!

A New Start In A Big City

The story of Tentacle Slave is something that I do think is quite interesting, especially for those who have a thing for tentacle porn games. We can play as a human or an elf woman and we are moving to a new city called, Tyrmiddon which is a big merchant city and we are looking to start a new life there. However, things get a bit weird as we run into a rather unusual woman, and from here, our life gets a bit “sticky”.

Why Do They Want Me?

While on the surface it may seem like Tentacle Slave is your standard fantasy type story that many lewd games have. There is a bit of a twist here as after this chance meeting with a woman, we find that these creepy tentacle creatures are starting to seek us out! This leads us on a quest to find out what they want with us and if there is anything that we can do to stop it. I am not the biggest tentacle porn guy in the world, but I have played many lewd games themed around them and from a premise point of view, this is honestly one of the best stories that I have come across.

Is This A Bait And Switch?

Before I played Tentacle Slave, I knew that it was a text-based adventure, but they do actually show a lot of art in the promos for the game, but there is hardly any art in the actual game! Hey, at the end of the day, it is a text-based lewd game, but if you are going to show off these interesting lewd creature designs, the least you can do is make sure that there is a consistent amount of them in the game. Also, you can play as a human or elf, I picked elf at first, but then wanted to play as the human so I changed, but the picture of my character was no different! To be honest, they would have been better off having no art at all as it makes the less than consistent art that they do have stand out way too much.

Walking Through With A Walk Through

I have played a lot of text-based adventure games and for the most part, I feel that playing them without a guide and getting immersed in the world and making mistakes, and having things happen naturally is the way to go. Tentacle Slave is interesting as on the one hand, it is like that and on the other, it is not a game like that. You see this is a very hard game to know what you are supposed to do next and there are multiple branching paths and it can be so hard to get an idea of what is right and what is wrong. I kind of like experiencing this world in this style. However, for those who want to really know where to go and what to do, you simply must use a guide as things in this game are so cryptic that I would wager most people end up hopelessly lost very early on. I get why that is frustrating for some people, but I got a kick out of it.

• Some of the dialogue is unintentionally hilarious!
• If you are into tentacle porn you will find this fun

• The game is round around pretty much every edge it has
• I can see why some people find this game way too frustrating
