Super Raft Boat Together is the sequel that I never knew I wanted! This game is pure mayhem and I can see it becoming one of my friends and I’s go to games when it comes to our game nights! This is a rogue like shooter/builder game that has a fun and crazy style and some fast and frantic gameplay. I have already had a lot of fun with this and the full game (as of me writing this) is not even out yet!

Water World!

The whole premise of Super Raft Boat Together is something that I got a major kick out of. Basically, the oceans have risen and things are messed up thanks to the aquatic life being the rulers of the world and also the wealthiest! We play as one member of a crew that needs to try and survive long enough to try and make it to the supposed haven that is called Final Island! This is a very charming game and I know it sounds cliché, but fun really is the best way to describe what is going on here.

Rogue Like With A Twist!

Look, it is 2023 and it seems like the next and best rogue like game is always just around the corner. Super Raft Boat Together though is trying to do its own thing and that is something I think is very cool. Each run has us on a raft and the idea is that we need to survive as long as we can. Unfortunately, all of the stuff in the ocean wants to destroy our poor raft! This means that we have to shoot and kill all the enemies to save the raft, but we also have to build and work on the raft too. You have to move around quickly and this is much harder to do when the raft is pretty much nonexistent. Playing with friends is awesome as you can work together to try and survive as long as you can.

Always Ready For The Fight!

The core gameplay of Super Raft Boat Together is great, but as is the case with any game of this style. Upgrades and enhancements are a core part of what is going down here. You will get to pick from three different perks from time to time that can really come in handy. You will also gather riches (the sea folk in this game are rich after all!) that you can use to buy upgrades and cosmetics. It is such a fun gameplay loop and you are always wanting to survive so you can potentially add something new to your build to help give you an edge.

So Much Charm, So Much Silliness

When you are not frantically trying to survive and decide if you should build or shoot, Super Raft Boat Together is sure to make you smile with its charming pixel art. The characters have so much personality ranging from the beach dude human, the classy businessman shark, the worlds smartest penguin, and a reformed human killing robot! This is a game that is bright and always has something crazy going on so you can never take your eyes off the screen.

As far as multiplayer games go, Super Raft Boat Together is probably going to be on my best games of the year list! I will say that I feel like this is the kind of game that is at its best when you are playing with people you know or if you can get lucky and get into a random group with some good people. I am not sure how much fun this would be to just keep running through on your own, I feel like it may lose its appeal rather quickly in that regard. However, with friends, this is the kind of game that can easily see a couple of hours zoom by.
