Slaves of Nautica

If you ask me, which you didn’t, but I will tell you anyway, Slaves of Nautica is a game that is good, but I think the potential for it to be great is most certainly there. This is classed as a lewd management game, and that is certainly there, but it may not be as in-depth as you are expecting. Still, this has a very solid premise, and I think that with a little more time in the oven, this could end up being something really fantastic. Anyway, after spending quite a bit of time with the game, I wanted to get my thoughts about it out there.

Sweet, Sweet Fantasy Baby

The premise of what is going on here in Slaves of Nautica is that we have just become the owner of a new brothel, and we are tasked with making this the best damn brothel in town. Of course, with that comes respect, money, and women if we can pull it all off. There is honestly not a great deal to the story if I am being honest. The premise of what I gave you is pretty much all that is driving the story along. You want to get rich, and you are going to do it by pimping out babes to help people bring their wildest sexual fantasies to life, which, of course, means you get paid in the process!

This Is The Peeing Room!

The idea of Slaves of Nautica is that we start small, we have a little bit of space and money, and with this money, we can hire girls and get some toys and so on, so that people will pay us to have sex with them. Once you start, money will start rolling in, and you can then expand your brothel by building more rooms that cater to certain fetishes, buying more items, getting new girls, and so on. There is a solid sense of progression here, and you always feel like your money is going up and that you can buy new things to improve your brothel, which in turn, will make you more money. It is a very solid concept, and there is something that is quite addictive about it.

Who Needs Hallways Anyway?

The thing with this game is that there is nothing all that bad about it, but it just feels like Slaves of Nautica is missing a bit of soul! The actual building and upgrading of your brothel is fun, but I hate the way that it is just boxes that make up new rooms, all stacked together. I wish that we had more control over the way that we organize the rooms, instead of them just all being bunched together with no connecting hallways or anything like that. Again, this is not bad, but you just feel like with a little more work, this could have taken a next step and been great, especially in regards to the improving of your brothel.

Hey, Don’t You Already Work Here?

One of the most surprising aspects of Slaves of Nautica is the way that it looks. This has a very dark and drab look about it, where the colors are quite dull. It is certainly an interesting look, that is for sure. The thing that is super weird is that the characters you can hire to work in your brothel all look the same except for their hair! Of course, you get to see them working by pleasing paying customers, but this does have some of that annoying pixelated censorship that always drives me insane. Why is this even a thing??? Much like the gameplay and the story, what is here in terms of the presentation is not bad, but it could have been so much better.

Pros:

• While all the chicks look the same, at least she has a cute anime style
• I liked the idea of adding more rooms to my brothel
• There are some pretty extreme sex acts in the game
• You can tell that somewhere in here, there is a great game

Cons:

• The brothel building feels very bare bones
• The censorship ruins what would be good sex scenes
