Runaway Girl Simulator

I will be real with you and say that Runaway Girl Simulator caught my attention because I read that it was a 3rd-person 3D game, and there are not a ton of lewd games that are like this, so I was pretty excited to check it out. While it may not have been the full 3D adventure that I thought I was getting into. I had more than enough fun here to recommend that you check it out for yourself. However, if you want to really know if this is for you, keep on reading, and I will tell you what I think this game did really well and what I also think could do with a little fine-tuning.

She’s A Little Runaway!

Talk about an 80s Bon Jovi classic, and if you get that reference, you are awesome! Runaway Girl Simulator is a game where we play as a young woman called Luna, although you can change her name if you like. The story sees her sick of her boring life, so she decides to ditch it all and run away to the big city to get her own bit of excitement. The thing is, she did not plan this at all; she literally just ran to the city without a job, a place to stay, or any clue. Thankfully, she comes across someone who gives her a place to stay. The story has different endings, and you can basically decide just how lewd she is going to get in order to keep up with the big city lifestyle that she wants.

I Guess The 3D Tag Is Ok

I will admit, I came into Runaway Girl Simulator thinking that this was a full 3D, run around the city kind of game. Now, to be fair, there are parts of the games and a few different areas that offer exactly that. However, there is not a ton of gameplay in these sections, and it is mostly running from point A to B. There is a map that lets you click on the different parts of the city, such as the club and the café. You need to work at these places to make money, money which can be used to buy items such as those from the sex shop. Making money is kind of fun as you are working as a waitress, and you need to press the button on the meter at the right time to make sure the person's order is right. There are many little parts that make up this game, and to be honest, they work decently enough.

A Reflection Of Life

As I write this, the world has gone kind of nuts, and things are just so damn expensive. Well, Runaway Girl Simulator takes that to heart as the grind in this game is very intense. The rate at which you make money and how expensive things are seems very frustrating at first, and I can see why some people would bail out early on. However, this is actually done by design as the game wants to replay it to try and get the different endings, as it has a new game plus system that lets you take things with you on your new playthrough. So while one of the upgrades you buy may not benefit you all that much at the end of your first playthrough, you will be very glad that you have it on your next one. While I can get behind this idea, if I am being brutally honest, what is here is not interesting enough to make me want to play it four times!

The Good, The Bad, And The Janky

When it comes to the visuals, let me start with what Runaway Girl Simulator does right, and that is the lewd content. Luna is a hottie, and the sex scenes with her are just a ton of fun, and I love how into them she seems to get. The game does not constantly throw sex scenes at you, but at least Luna is sexy enough that even when she is clothed, she is nice to look at. The rest of the game is… ok. The map sections and the work parts where you are a waitress are all in 2D and look decent. However, the 3D portions of the game are sparse with what they have in them, and there is just something very janky about the way that Luna walks in 3D She kind of reminds me of the way that Mega Man walks in Mega Man Legends!

Pros:

• I liked Luna’s spunky spirit that she had
• The game has a fun premise
• I liked how they had a solid variety in the gameplay
• With a little extra work, this could be something special

Cons:

• The game is a very, very slow grind in the initial playthrough
• The 3D sections could be dropped and it would not make a difference
