Problematic Subjects

I loved the idea behind Problematic Subjects, and after spending some quality time with the game, I can comfortably tell you that this is a very solid sex simulator-style game.

Welcome To Detention

The college setting of the game is something I found fun. The main character is a woman called Emily Green, and she is a teacher who has been put in charge of the detention room. Over the course of several days, she has to punish a selection of male students! Well, as this is a lewd game, you have probably already figured out that she sees making them have sex with her is the way to go! Where the heck were the teachers like this when I was at college??? While not a ton of story, you do get a bit of back and forth

More Than You Would Expect

While I called Problematic Subjects a sex simulator in the intro, that is perhaps a little harsh, as there is more gameplay here than you may expect. You have a chat with the student where you basically seduce them, and then you have a selection of sex acts that you can do. There is also a stamina system here, so you cannot just do what you want all the time. You unlock more sex acts that you can do with them, and you need to try to figure out what they like best. There is a bit of randomness here, as the sex acts at your disposal each day change, so it could be a case where the thing they really like is not on offer for that day. I liked this; it ended up being more challenging than I was expecting.

Get Back To Work

There is a really cool visual style to this game; it features some nicely drawn characters, and I appreciate how they have gone for a smoother look rather than a lewd pixel art one. Hey, I love lewd pixel art as much as the next guy, but I feel like every other game has it these days. Anyway, the detention room is always the same, but the XXX acts you get up to change each day, leading up to an “explosive” ending if you get what I am saying! The animation is nice, and our lovely Ms. Green is a total babe, again, where were the teachers like this during my college days…. Although I did have a pretty hot English professor, now that I think about it!

Pros:

• I loved the premise of the game
• The art style is great and the sex scenes hot!
• I liked how there was some actual gameplay here

Cons:

• The random nature of sex acts can be annoying
• Once beaten, there is not much replay here
