Painkiller: Overdose is a first-person shooter game released in 2007, which is a standalone add-on to the original Painkiller game. The game is developed by Mindware Studios and published by DreamCatcher Interactive. It continues the traditions of the series, offering players dynamic and intense action with elements of horror. The plot unfolds in a dark and mystical world, where players take on the role of a new character named Belial. He is a fallen angel who was cast out of paradise and now must fight demons and other supernatural creatures. Belial is tasked by the higher powers to stop the demons that threaten humanity.
