My Brother's Wife

My Brother's Wife is a lewd visual novel game that is still in development as I write this, but so far it is looking so good for this game. It has a premise that sounds like it is very predictable, but I ended up getting pretty invested in the story that was being told here. It is a visual novel that has a pretty solid story to tell and while there is not a ton of XXX content in the current build of the game I have played. It has managed to keep me invested enough to keep on playing and checking back to see what happens next.

Not What You Think

Now, with a title like My Brother's Wife, you probably think that you are some jerk MC that is just trying to bang his brother’s wife, but that is not actually the case. Your elder brother became your guardian when your parents died and rather than look after you himself, he shipped you off to boarding school and the two of you are not super close as a result of this. Once you graduate, you move back home and find that your brother has a new wife, Jennifer.

What A Jerk!

A “twist” that I like in My Brother's Wife is how you are not just out to be mean to your brother and sleep with his wife. It turns out that your brother is a real jerk and not exactly all that nice to his hot wife! You can see a real slow burn kind of attraction happening with the MC and the wife and I think it is done very well and I hope that it has a good payoff as so far from what I have played the setup is very much there. The only real issue I have with the story is that clearly English is not the developer's first language and there can be a few issues with the writing.

Picking The Right Path

Like most other lewd visual novel games, My Brother's Wife gives you a few different ways of playing the game. I wanted my MC to be a nicer kind of guy and that was the way I played him. It feels pretty obvious what you need to do or say to go down your chosen path. I like this as you can play the MC how you want and there is even a kind of jerk path if you want to go that route.

Making You Work Hard For It!

Remember how I said that My Brother's Wife is still being worked on? Well, there is not only not a great deal of story content in the current build, but there is also actually no XXX content as of yet! To be fair, you can tell that this is a game that has a slower burn kind of story and I am ok with that. I just feel that each update should have at least one sex scene to keep people motivated to play. To be honest with you, the renders in the game are fantastic, not just the wife, Jennifer, but the other female characters that have appeared in the story so far too. I am pretty excited to see the first XXX scene in the game and hope it is coming soon.

Pros:

• I am really enjoying the story that is being told here
• You can play the MC in different ways
• Jennifer is a great character that I really do like
• The visuals in the game are great

Cons:

• The game is still very far from being finished and there are no XXX scenes yet
• There are a few spelling and grammar issues in the story
