Moo Lander is a silly 2D platformer adventure game. You play as Lander, an alien that operates the last remaining spaceship. Your goal is to find milk, an essential fluid that provides nearly everything your spaceship needs. Despite the silliness of the game’s components, the skill required for the games is deadly serious. You’ll need to bring your best to this 2D platformer to be able to win it.

Amusing commentary

Lander isn’t alone on his mission. He will be talking frequently with his ships AI system, Hamilton, during his mission to find milk. Talking with Hamilton often results in hilarious conversations. Their witty commentary throughout the game helps tie everything together and make even ordinary flight time enjoyable.

Stunning graphics

Despite how silly the idea of Moo Lander sounds, the graphics are nothing to laugh at. The backdrops as you move through the game are nothing short of breathtaking. As you fly through tangled webs of thorny alien plants, you’ll find yourself holding your breath as you try to get through them. If you’ve ever played the recent platformer, LUMIONE, these graphics hold up to the same incredible level.

“Mooltiplayer” Allowed

The game has a couple different modes to select from, including “Mooltiplayer” which allows you to play with more than one person. This mode supports up to four players, with up to 4 mini-games they can play. These games include fighting an AI cow boss, fighting real cows, a wave game, and a game where you chase cows.

You also have the opportunity to choose your own cow to fight with, each with their own special abilities in combat. This option is not only a great deal of fun, it adds replay value to the game. It’s always more fun to play with others than to play on your own, and competing with your friends can add an edge to the game.

Longer gameplay

According to the Steam page for Moo Lander, the game offers up to 12+ hours of gameplay. While this isn’t nearly as long as the epics in the gaming world, it is definitely nothing to sneeze at. If you’re looking for a longer game to keep you occupied, this game has what it takes to keep you entertained for many hours.

Some minor flaws

Although Moolander is fun and entertaining, it isn’t entirely perfect. Cutscenes can’t be skipped, so if you’re in a hurry to get to the next level you’ll be forced to hang around for a little bit. The tutorial on the other hand, is entirely too short and dumps you into the world of Moolander long before you are ready for it.
