Legend of Temporary Cleaner

The more I read about Legend of Temporary Cleaner, the more I felt that this sounded like a very interesting and pretty unique kind of lewd game. I love a good slice of life style of game, and that was what mostly attracted me to this, that, along with an MC who is slipping into depravity. While the game may not have lived up to the unrealistic high expectations that I had for it. I was still entertained and felt the urge to jump on here and write a review to try and get some of you to try and give this a try, so you can make up your own mind in regards to if this is good or not.

Living My Life

As I said, Legend of Temporary Cleaner has a slice of life vibe to it, and the story has us playing the role of a man called Daiyu. No spoilers here, but Daiyu has been through it as of late, and he finds himself in a bit of a rut. However, one day, something inside of him awakens, and he finds himself becoming more and more twisted by his sexual urges. Honestly, this is very interesting stuff, and while the story may never really live up to the opening segment, I still think that it is a very interesting premise.

You Decide The Tone

While the start of Daiyu’s story really did intrigue me, Legend of Temporary Cleaner was a rather odd game in that the tone of the story did feel a little bit inconsistent. Again, I do not want to go into spoiler territory here, as I think this is the kind of thing you need to decide for yourself. However, the darker tones of Daiyu that started to appear the further I got into the game those did not click with me as much. I much preferred it during his early struggles when he was getting over the tragedy. Hey, at the end of the day, I feel that this is the kind of story that is much more “personal,” and it is up to you on how you take it.

Pixel Powers!

Most slice of life style games are done in a visual novel style or perhaps something like one of the Life is Strange games. Legend of Temporary Cleaner does things a bit differently, as the game is presented with this absolutely gorgeous 2D pixel art. The game has some nicely detailed locations, and it is some of the best pixel art that I have seen in a lewd game over the last couple of years. There is some lewd content in the actual game, but there are also some much more detailed sex scenes as well that are done with much larger and more intense sprites. In all, this is just an awesome-looking game, and I would wager a lot of people will be compelled to keep on playing this based on the visuals alone!

A Little More Urgency!

There was actually way more to the gameplay of Legend of Temporary Cleaner than I was expecting. Most of the game has you moving around in the 2D plane, but you are a cleaner, and it is when you do these mini-games that the story gets fleshed out a little more and the core “gameplay” happens. My only real complaint is the speed at which this dude walks! For a guy who is so horny, he walks at a snail's pace, and I wish that there was a way to make him walk much quicker, as even with the upgrade you can get, it is still pretty slow. As I said earlier, there are some RPG-like elements in the way that money and upgrades work. However, trust me, getting the running shoes upgrade is the first thing you need to unlock.

Pros:

• I thought the game started very strongly
• The premise of the story was very interesting
• The mini-games and RPG elements flesh things out
• I can see some people really clicking with this game

Cons:

• The story went in a direction I was not a massive fan of
• That walking speed is brutal at the start of the game!
