Leap of Love

Leap of Love is one of the most challenging lewd visual novel/dating sims that I have ever played. It is truly a game that demands a great deal of dedication from the player or for them to have a guide as this game does not mess around. The thing is, if someone had described this game to me before I played it, I would have probably thought that it would be too frustrating for me to really enjoy, but that was not the case Yes, this was hard, perhaps too hard, but I just loved the whole idea of this game.

The Princess And The Frog

That is not me messing around, the plot of Leap of Love is very similar to the Disney classic The Princess and the Frog, but with way more lewdness. Our main character was nothing more than a frog, but we were turned into a prince by a wizard. That sounds great, doesn’t it? Well, there is a twist unless we can find a princess to marry in 30 days, we will be turned back into a frog.

Keeping It In The Family

Luckily for us, the king of the land where Leap of Love has three daughters and also a willing wife that we can try and woo so that we can find true love, stay as a human, and get laid in the process! There are plenty of ladies that you get to chat with and have fun with in the game and for the most part, the characters are well written and you actually want to get to know them.

No Such Thing As An Easy Route

You know, the more I think about it the more I feel that Leap of Love may be the most challenging lewd visual novels that I have ever played! The problem is that there are so many dead ends in the game that I legit feel it would be impossible to get a good ending without using some kind of guide. The game is hard for the sake of being hard and it desperately needs a hint system to give the player a chance. There are some stats that you have to keep an eye on, but for the most part, it is more like a lewd visual novel. I can see why some people would find the game more frustrating than fun, to be honest with you.

Keep On Trucking

I would be lying if I said that it was not the amazing art the game has that kept me trying to progress through Leap of Love. The game has some amazing fantasy style art (even if the old wizard dude does look like Gargamel from The Smurfs. There is one lewd scene with a little fairy like chick that has to be seen to be believed. There is not a female character in the game that did not like the look of and the lewd content was fantastic. The game also has a great soundtrack with voice acting for the main love interests.

Pros:

• I love the art this game has
• The voice acting is great and actually adds a lot to the game
• If you want a brutally difficult lewd visual novel this is the game for you!
• The love interests are all unique and interesting

Cons:

• This is challenging, unfairly challenging I would say
• That difficulty really does ruin what would otherwise have been a fantastic lewd visual novel
