Kinky Fight Club

Man, you have no idea how much I wanted to love Kinky Fight Club! To be fair, this I feel is a great idea for a game. From the name, I thought it was going to be a fighting game, but it is actually a turn-based RPG with a real effort in place to tell a compelling story. Look, this game is rough around the edges and I mean rough with a capital R! However, the game also has a strange pull that makes you want to keep on playing.

Move To City & Fight For Sex!

The story of the game is way deeper than I imagined it would be. You move to the city and you take a liking to your buddy Matt’s crush. Through a series of events, you find yourself at the Kinky Fight Club which is an underground fight club where the way you win is by making your opponent orgasm first!

I know this sounds weird and it most certainly is. However, they are trying really hard with the story and it does give you a reason to be doing what you are doing and in a game that is about a sex fighting club, you cannot ask for more.

Where Are Cloud & Barret?

The gameplay starts of fairly slow and at first, I wondered if this was going to be more of a visual novel than an RPG. You have a lot of choices when it comes to making a character and while the game caters to straight and gay, I get the impression playing as a woman is what Kinky Fight Club is really all about. The battle system is very similar to the active time system that Final Fantasy VII offered.

You have three bars during a battle, ecstatic’s, arousal, and energy, and depending on the level of these bars, you can do certain acts. Trying to make your opponent have an orgasm by doing all kinds of sex acts is the name of the game here. There is a lot of stuff you can do as well which I was quite impressed with. I just feel that if there were more people involved with the development or if they had a higher budget, it could take this thing to the next step. It is worth noting that as well as the story mode, you also have an arcade mode and a few other modes to keep you busy as well.

Buzz, Your Girlfriend, Woof!

The presentation of Kinky Fight Club is very rough. This game has perhaps the most “budget” look to a game that I have ever seen. It is not a horrible looking game by any means, but you can tell after just five minutes that this game is crying out for a higher budget. You can make a male or female character and that is cool.

The game does also have a pretty damn awesome soundtrack which took me by surprise as I was expecting it to be way more generic than it turned out to be.

Pros:

• I thought the idea of the story was cool
• They really try hard to make the story compelling
• It has a ton of different styles of sex in the game
• The soundtrack is way better than it has any right to be
• I feel that the framework is here for a very special game

Cons:

• This game looks pretty rough
• The start of the story is pretty slow
