House Chores

I am a sucker for a good lewd visual novel and House Chores is one that really appealed to me. To be honest, the hot image I first saw when I looked at this game made me know this was a game for me before I even started playing it! If you are in the mood for a lewd visual novel that gets straight to the point and is easy to play through then this is the game that you have been looking for!

A Cruel, But Sexy Summer

Our MC is a pretty average dude who is just trying to have an epic summer vacation. His summer vacation plans are complicated a tad when he starts to have an attraction to someone that he should not! While this could make his summer rather “messy” things are made even more complicated as two other chicks appear that also complicate things!

The Relationship You Want

One of the things that I found very interesting about House Chores was the relationship that you have with the other characters. By default, the main chick you have a thing for is your mother which is not something that I am into. However, this game lets you change what the relationship is. For example, you can change her from being your mother to your teacher. I thought that this was a great touch and something that made me like the game even more.

Downward Facing Dog!

What really drew me to House Chores was the image of our MC playing video games and the mom character doing a yoga pose in front of him! It was not even fully nude, but man it was so hot and that was what made me want to actually play this game. They went for a more animated/cartoon style with the visuals here and it is very well done. The characters look great and in all, it is a game that is very easy on the eyes. There is a nice selection of sex scenes too which the game is not too stingy about when it comes to unlocking them.

Straight To The Point!

One of the things that I found very appealing about House Chores was just how straightforward it was. There is no brutal grinding here! You get to the XXX content pretty damn quickly and it is pretty obvious what choices you are supposed to make so that the female characters take a liking to it and let you bang them. I can see some people finding this way too simple, but I liked it. I have played too many lewd visual novels recently where they are cryptic or have this huge grind to get to the good stuff.

Pros:

• The “mom” character is very hot
• I liked how straightforward it was to play
• This is a very relaxing kind of lewd game

• The gameplay may be way too easy for some people
• I am not sure this is a game that will encourage you to replay it a great deal

With a name as innocent as “House Chores”, the last time I was expecting to find was one of the most perverted (and entertaining) H games I’ve ever played – and yet, here we are. House Chores isn’t breaking new ground in this genre, but it sure knows how to play its cards right.

Featuring some great voice acting and the best artwork I’ve seen in a game like this since Akabur vanished into thin air, House Chores is one of the most satisfying games of its kind. The plot delves into some very risky kinks that might not always resonate with you, but there’s something for everyone in this game. Couple that with the interactive H-scenes, and what you have is an incredible game that will put your past summer breaks into perspective.

An Unlikely Match

The story begins during summer break, with our protagonist locked in his house as usual. However, things get spicy once he begins to show some “close” affection with a member of his family. To make matters worse, two unexpected (and hot) guests barge in, suddenly raising the temperature of his summer vacation.

The plot sounds more or less like what we saw in the original, “uncensored” version of Summertime Saga – you know, before the Patreon debacle completely changed the identities of some of the main characters. If you’re not bothered by the game’s spiciest kinks – and the whole incest vibe – the rest of the H content is pretty vanilla.

Cartoony Escapades

At first glance, House Chores almost looked like a Summertime Saga sequel. However, that game is more or less infamous for its character designs. Sure, they’re well endowed (almost too endowed), but their faces look like the stuff of nightmares at times. Fortunately, the same rules don’t apply to House Chores.

Every character has a face that looks human, which is a fortunate step up from Summertime Saga. Body proportions, while still sticking to the classic hentai rule of “bigger=better,” look proportionate and realistic, which only enhances the quality of every sex scene. And trust me, there are plenty of those to discover in this game.

As you might expect, you’ll come across many naughty scenarios in this game. Your character, for some reason, has unspeakable rizz, so he manages to get with every girl in the game, as long as you pick the correct dialogue choices. You’ll be pleased to know there’s none of that dreaded NTR in House Chores. You’re the alpha in this town.

Presentation is Key

Almost every hentai visual novel I’ve played (not that I’ve played that many… Seriously) delivers the goods in text only. Sure, there are plenty of detailed images to accompany said text, and in the case of games like Princess Trainer, said illustrations are top-notch. However, if there’s one thing missing from most of these games, that would be voice acting.

Here’s where things get interesting for House Chores: some of the scenes feature real voice actors! And I don’t mean your average “We hired a random off the internet” kind of voice acting, either. Amazing talents like PixieWillow, OolayTiger, and even the incredible CottonTail lend their voices to some of the characters in this game, elevating the experience beyond the scope of your average lewd game.
