Are you ready to play H-Isekai Loves? Well, I truly hope so, because here you are. H-Isekai Loves is a casual adventure roleplaying game where you jump into a different dimension, as one often does, which is luckily filled to the brim with attractive anime girls. You must battle your way through the world and interact with many interesting characters as you go. With a few different mechanics and a puzzle here and there, you’ll find that there is a pleasant amount of gameplay to accompany the unique world and brilliantly funny writing. Let’s jump into it.

Gameplay

So, if you’ve ever played HuniePop, you’ll have a decent idea as to what this game is all about. It very much follows the similar gameplay style that many of its genre do, staying unique enough with the characters and writing that it feels fresh and different, but keeping those gameplay choices so that you can adapt quickly and get into the flow easily. Explore this interesting world and engage in combat with many of the monsters that inhabit it. That takes up a pretty large chunk of the game, but this is, after all, not safe for work, meaning there is some sexy stuff in here too. Play some mini games where you can solve simple puzzles and get up to some sexy nonsense with some of the locals. Or, maybe, you want to get up to some tomfoolery with a sexy lady, in which case you play a glorified version of Bejeweled and whittled own their defenses until their willing to get freaky. Does that sound strangely underhanded? Yes, but it’s a power trip so it’s designed to be that way, don’t think about it.

I will say that the combat can be a little too easy at times, there isn’t much to think about when fighting but I don’t think its actually meant to be the focus of the title.

Visuals

The visuals of this game are genuinely brilliant. They accent the humor fantastically, but the romantic interests are expertly rendered. The live2D girls who react to stimuli in real time is amazing, the art design, from the gorgeous world design and backgrounds, to the utterly gorgeous characters, is truly stunning. The 18+ moments are excellently realized to boot, which, I feel, adds a lot to the depth of the game.

Writing

I have, at several points, been in absolute stitches from this game a few times. The way the story is written allows for a natural humor to flow from all the situations that the characters find themselves in. The story is an isekai, meaning the main character is a normal guy who winds up in a different world and usually absolutely slays while there. Its wish fulfillment at its finest and this game does it better than a lot of others.
