Girls And Dungeons

Girls And Dungeons is a lewd RPG that has a real old-school feel to it. It is a game that does not take itself too seriously and it is a game that depending on your age, I think you could have a lot of fun with. The “old-“school” vibe and soul that the game has may make it feel a bit dated to some, but I am sure for those of you who played RPGs in the 90s, you will get a kick out of some of the outdated mechanics.

The Demon Of Intoxication!

The plot of the game is pretty fun and there are some great fan service moments here. Girls And Dungeons, has you playing as this mercenary who is going to head into a deadly dungeon. In this dungeon lays a fearsome foe called, Yashumugi who is better known as the Demon of Intoxication and he likes to get the sexy ladies of this place well and truly wasted so they are under his control.

You venture into the dungeon, picking up hot chicks along the way who will join your party to save the day. The story is sure as heck not going to win any awards, but it has a fair bit of charm to it and it is sure to put a smile on your face with the fan service that it has.

Like A Hottie From 1994!

I love the art style that they went for with Girls And Dungeons. The game looks like something that could have been released on the Sega Genesis or Super Nintendo in the mid-90s. The pixel work here is fantastic and I love the way the girls look especially this one who has a kind of cow thing going on. The game is played from a top-down perspective and I liked how clear everything was. When you get into a battle, the view changes to a first-person viewpoint and while there are not a ton of different enemies, the ones that are here are cool enough.

There is not as much lewd content in this game as you would think. The characters are all pretty scantily clad and there are some great XXX cgs that you can obtain, but the actual nudity happens far less than may be ideal for some of you guys.

A Love/Hate Relationship

When you look online about this game, especially on STEAM. The reception to Girls And Dungeons is very, very mixed. While I had fun with the game, I can see why the old-school gameplay may not be for everyone. At the end of the day, this is a dungeon-crawling RPG. You head into the dungeon, fight monsters, level up, learn new abilities, and battle bosses. It is simple stuff, but the game is very competent and does what it does well.

You can even spruce up the old homestead which is fun. When it comes to the battles, only our main hero is actually any good. What I did was just use the other party members as healers and to make sure our main character has plenty of SP so he can do his powerful attacks.

The main issues people will have with this game are that first of all it is very, very slow-paced. Also, the checkpoints are crazy, you can get killed by a boss and then have to replay 30 to 60 minutes of the game again to get back there!

Pros:

• This is a game that has a great deal of charm to it
• I liked the character designs
• The lewd content that is here is pretty great
• The pixel style is awesome
• If you like old-school RPGs you may get a kick out of this

Cons:

• The checkpoints are too far apart
• It does take a while to get going
