Furtown: New Beginnings

Furry games are always a blend of experiences. You never know what you’re going to get once you play one. Unlike more straightforward hentai games, furries have a way of introducing some very “niche” tastes into the mix that always keeps things, let’s say, interesting. Furtown: New Beginnings is one such game.

Filled to the brim with all the content you’d expect from a furry game, Furtown keeps things engaging for non-furries with its sheer amount of adult themes. You take on the role of the only full-human in a town with hordes of half-animal cuties. Naturally, being an oddity comes with its advantages, as every girl in your neighborhood wants to mate with your character. That’s easier said than done, however – you’ll have to fulfill a series of tasks before you can go all National Geographic in this game.

Animal Kingdom

The first thing you’ll notice about this game is the incredible variety of furry species you’ll come across. Unlike games like Cattle Castle 2 – where you only ever saw cows, understandably, – here, you’ll find every kind of anthro under the sun. From cows and pigs to foxes and pandas, there’s a cute furry girl for every taste in Furtown.

Much like in Corruption of Champions, this variety opens the doors for anyone with even a passing interest in furries to find something that tickles their fancy. Still, the game is decidedly made for furry eyes only, so avoid this one if you’re not into cute anthro girls, you monster.

Rizz and Dominate

Furtown plays like most harem hentai games – that is, the game invites you to seduce as many girls as possible, learning and catering to their tastes in order to get more intimate with them. In that regard, the game feels like a furry version of Summertime Saga, which is great for those players who can’t stand yet another hentai visual novel.

All of the characters in this game are surprisingly well-written. They go beyond the usual lusty caricatures you’d expect to see in games like these, which adds to the engagement factor. I loved getting to know the girls – in fact, I think learning their likes and dislikes is even more rewarding than finally boning them, but maybe that’s just me.

If all you want is to get to the good part as quickly as possible, you’re in luck. This is one of those games where almost everything is perverted, so you won’t waste much time without seeing some bouncy bits, I’m sure.

Artistic Inclinations

Furry artists are, for better or worse, some of the most talented illustrators the internet age has ever produced. As such, many furry games have amazing art styles that are far superior to those pre-rendered 3D visual novels you find on every Steam Summer sale, for some reason.

However, Furtown is a bit of a mixed bag in the art department. While the H-scenes look great for what they are, some character designs are questionable, to say the least. Look, I can never be too harsh to a game that has cowgirls with big bazongas, but when you see games like Mice Tea having some of the most gorgeous art you’ve ever seen in a porn game, you know the competition in this genre is incredibly tough.
