Forza Motorsport 6

If you want to know how to make a great sequel, Forza Motorsport 6 is the shining example of that! This is for many what the 5th game in the series should have been. I loved Forza Motorsport 5, but it was lacking in content. To be fair, they wanted it out as close to the launch of the Xbox One as possible so it was against the clock. With the 6th game in the series, they had way more time to make the game they really wanted to.

More Is Better!

The amount of content that Forza Motorsport 6 has over 5 is just staggering. With well over 400 cars and a ton of tracks which comprise of new and returning ones. This is a game that is just stacked with content! As you would expect the cars and tracks look phenomenal and once again the Forza series shows why it is the king when it comes to the visuals. It is like this is the game they really wanted to make with 5 and I mean that as a massive compliment.

Night races and weather effects are here and they showcase the visuals even more. Some of the tracks that you can race on during the night are so spectacular that you will often slam into a wall as you take your eyes off the road to see some of the detail of the scenery.

King Of The Road

I think that with Forza Motorsport 6 the game has way more “sim” aspects than the last couple. This may alienate new players, but there are options there you can use. I love the sim aspect of this game. The way the different cars have such a different feel from modern sports cars to more classic cars that were driven in the heyday of racing is really cool.

The gameplay is so tight that when you do eventually get the hang of it and you are able to pull off turns like a pro, overtake the AI like a master and so on. You really do feel like a master driver. This is a game that really does make you feel like you are in full control of your car.

Can You Handle The Challenge?

The career mode in the last game was lacking, but they went all in here. There are a ton of races from all over the globe for you to compete in and a ton of hours of content to get through. I like how different regions have their own championships for you to deal with and they each pose their own challenge, style and of course cars to race. The content here is just staggering and as a result, I feel that Forza Motorsport 6 is a game that is going to take up a great deal of your time.

As you can probably tell this is a game that I really like. I think they went all-in with Forza Motorsport 6 and have really made a fantastic game here. The game has everything that you love about the Forza Motorsport series, but with a ton more content. This is a game that is a great deal of fun to play, but the huge amount of content is going to give you months of gameplay.
