I always like it when a game like Fighting Girl Sakura-R comes along. A lewd game that is trying to be an actual video game as well as showing lots of hot characters getting it on. Those of you who enjoy classic beat-em-ups are who a game like this is aimed at. It is a game that is done very well and while not the deepest experience, it is a great deal of fun while it lasts.

You Killed My Parents

In the story of the game, we play as a feisty badass chick called Sakura. She is still getting over the death of her parents and then she realizes that their deaths may not be exactly what they seemed. She decides to investigate the death of her parents and this leads her down a dark and dangerous path.

Look, at the end of the day, this is a beat-em-up. I never hear people complaining that Ninja Turtles IV or Final Fight never has an engaging story so it seems harsh to dig deep into what this is offering and then criticize it for that.

Beat Down With Your Pants Down

The gameplay of Fighting Girl Sakura-R is something that you will either find very satisfying or very shallow and boring. If those classic beat-em-ups that were big in the 80s and 90s did nothing for you, from a gameplay point of view, I cannot see this winning you over. For me, and those of you who love old-school game design like this, you will probably get into a real groove with the gameplay and have a fun time. Sakura does not exactly have a ton of moves, but moving left to right and dishing out hit after hit on the enemies is very satisfying. The game is on a 2D plain so it is more like Kung-Fu Master than something like Streets of Rage. You can get potions that help you, coins to buy stuff, and so on.

Lewd Is Art

I thought that the art design of Fighting Girl Sakura-R was fantastic. Sakura is a great looking character to play as and her boobs have a nice jiggle to them, but the jiggle sometimes goes on for one or two frames too many. Which makes you laugh more than makes you horny in all honesty. The art in the actual game is very smooth and anime like and that is great.

You get banged by the various monsters as you go and these are very well animated and there is a decent variety of sex positions. You also get much higher-quality sex scenes as well which are done well, but some of the monsters are pretty gross.

I know that this is a game that is not exactly deep, but I still had a very good time playing through Fighting Girl Sakura-R. The controls felt nice and tight and while she does not have a ton of moves, the combo system felt very satisfying. For the right kind of gamer, I think this is a game you will fire up, have fun with, and want to see it out all the way until the very end.
