Eversoul

Eversoul is an RPG gacha game that focuses on the story of the “Savior,” who is the main protragonist controlled by the player. The Savior was summoned from another world to this dystopian future, and must work together with a broad range of other characters to help change the fate of the world. These characters are called Soul Companions, and together you will fight evil monsters that come through a portal of sorts to attack the world. Your main goal is to connect these companions with their Soul Stones by forming contracts with them.

Very Polished Artwork

Eversoul is a fairly standard gacha game, but one place it really stands out are its animations. All the companions have stunning animations, and a generous amount of them. Each one has a unique animation not just for summoning, but also for victory screens and other major events as well. The artwork is definitely a step up from normal, and the game offers just a touch more in the way of artwork and animation than other, similar games.

Many Game Modes

The game offers story mode, date mode, and combat mode as the three major gaming modes. Story mode reads like a visual novel, helping you to learn more about the world you’ve come into. Combat mode is just as it sounds, with players going on missions against various monsters. Finally there is date mode, where you can go on dates with various companions to help learn more about them. Just like with the animations, this is just a bit more polished than average with some additional features like getting to choose daytime/nighttime for these dates and some great dialogue.

Nothing Original

Eversoul is a beautifully made game, with a lot going for it. It has some quality of life features, superior animation, and a thoughtful selection of modes. Just like any other game however, it has its flaws. As polished as Eversoul is, it doesn’t have anything truly original.

All of the features in the game are pretty standard for gachas. Almost all gachas, from Genshin Impact with its Hangouts to Master of Eternity that requires bonding to grow, has some kind of date mode. Most gachas have a story mode and a combat mode. Although the game is very well made, there’s nothing truly unique or special about it. Even the story is as generic as they come.

If you’re looking for a gacha game and want something that looks beautiful and runs smoothly, this is the game for you. Eversoul is a thoughtfully made game that takes all the ordinary parts of a gacha and kicks it up a notch. What it does not offer is anything fresh or original.
