Anyone can upload 3D character models and give them distinct personalities through natural language input. Unleashed into Ememe Town, these AI NPCs lead independent lives of their own as they engage in free conversations with each other, form friendships, and follow schedules that change based on their personal characteristics.

Most impressive, perhaps, is its proprietary Dialogue-to-Motion AI system. The system uses the content and context of NPC conversations to source fitting facial expressions and body motion from a rich library of motion data, resulting in uncannily lifelike interactions that really breathe life into the town.

Player Agency in an AI World

Comparisons to long-running life simulation franchise The Sims are inevitable, but Ememe does things very differently. Where The Sims relies on pre-programmed behaviors and player-directed actions, Ememe's NPCs hold a level of autonomy and unpredictability that can lead to truly emergent storytelling.
