Crown of Greed

I love strategy games, and Crown of Greed is one of the most unique and cool ones that I have come across in quite some time.

The King Has Risen

The story sees us playing as the heir to the crown of Rodovia. A fantasy land that we are now the ruler of, and it is up to us to keep our kingdom prosperous. This means that we have to try to expand as well as defend what we already have. One of the things that I liked about the setting was the hero system that the game had. There are these independent heroes that we can try to hire to fight for us, and they have some pretty interesting character traits and development.

All The Right Kind Of Moves!

If you like strategy games, Crown of Greed is going to be something that you love sinking your teeth into! This offers you the chance to build your kingdom with various buildings that will grant you upgrades, new items, places for your troops to rest, and so on. You also have the hero system, where you can hire powerful heroes to come and fight for you. There is also this rather unique indirect command system that allows you more freedom with the way that you play. This has clearly been made for people who are already familiar with this genre of game, and I honestly do not see that as a bad thing at all.

A Nightmare Kind Of Fantasy

It was the really cool dark fantasy style of the visuals that initially drew me into the game. This has that classic fantasy look to it, but with a very high level of polish. The character designs are what really clicked with me, I get that some may say that it is very much your typical fantasy affair and I get that. However, they still look awesome and if you are into fantasy art, I think the whole visual style is going to be something that you get a massive kick out of.
