Casual Desires

When I heard that Casual Desires was a lewd visual novel that you could also play on your phone as well as your PC, I must admit that kind of turned me off a bit. I am not a fan of playing lewd games on my phone so I thought if this was made with mobiles in mind it might have some of the “mobile trappings” that many mobile games have which I hate. Thankfully that is not the case and I ended up really getting invested in what was going on here, I will say that this is more of a “slice of life” style of game so if that is not something you usually like, you may want to skip this one.

Embracing Her Desires

The story being told in Casual Desires is about a young woman called Rita who has been left alone at home by her family and now that she is 19, she is wanting to explore her more sexual side. There is no real conflict in this game, the only “pressure” really comes from her worrying about what her parents will think. As I said in the intro, this is very much a slice of life style of game and that is what I liked about it.

Two Points Of View

One of the things that I really liked about the story being told in Casual Desires was that while the majority of the game is played from the point of view of Rita, there is another character called Violet who we also get to see and experience things from her point of view too. I liked this as it added a great deal to the game, it is actually very character driven and there are some characters that I did find quite interesting to chat to and find out more about.

Going Down The Lewd Path

As Casual Desires is a lewd visual novel, you will know what to expect when it comes to the gameplay here. You have to read the story and then make a decision at certain points. What I like about the decision making here is that you can go a straight route or you can go a lesbian route and it is up to you how you want her to explore her sexuality. It was pretty good stuff and I think that there was enough content in the game to make me want to play through it again. The fact that the game has some great character renders and plenty of awesome lewd sex scenes also helps in that regard. It never takes too long to get to a sex scene which I am sure many of you will greatly appreciate.

Pros:

• If you enjoy slice of life style stories, you will like what is on offer here
• I found the two main characters to be very likable
• The character renders and the sex scenes are fantastic
• I could easily see myself playing through this game again

Cons:

• If the slice of life thing usually bores you, this will not change that
• I think those who play the mobile version of this are missing out
