If you're an absolute gear-head, there is no question you are going to love this game.
In fact if you wanted to compare V-Rally to anything look to Sega's Rally along with Sony's Rally Cross as a couple of the primary influencers on V-Rally.
So what stands out as a next-gen game? Well the most obvious place to start is with the graphics. Everything is gorgeous from the city streets to the cars themselves, it's definitely eye candy (at least running at 1080i).

This game plays out like a episode of the TV show: Get the mortgage payment to the bank before Boss Hogg can foreclose, break out of jail, win the county race and use the prize money to pay off the mortgage on the farm.
It’s not hard to get the hang of each car’s maneuvering techniques; however, winning the race is a different story.
As the RR series grows and matures, it seems the developers have found a comfortable niche in the over the top arcade racing category.
Aside from the cool music, the first thing I noticed when starting this game is the simplicity of options and gameplay.
