CAMPUS CHRONICLES

Oddly charming is probably the way that I would describe CAMPUS CHRONICLES. This is a lewd adventure game, actually, I would say that it fits more into the point-and-click adventure game. The game is still being worked on as I write this, but you can see the potential here. I think that they have the base for a pretty solid adult game here, they just need to flesh things out and perhaps tighten up some aspects of the game. Still, even with that being said, the charming art style kept me wanting to play the game so I could see the next cheeky XXX scene!

The Bully From My Past?

The story in CAMPUS CHRONICLES is kind of weird. I say that because the developer gives you a synopsis about how you are trying to live your best school life, but then, all of a sudden, some kind of bully or problem from your past has arrived at your school. Hey, I like the idea of this, but in the time I spent with the game, there was pretty much zero mention of this or any kind of overarching story. I am very interested to see if the developer does flesh this out.

School Days

While I never encountered any kind of main story in the time I spent with CAMPUS CHRONICLES, I did come across a few different characters. At the moment, doing stuff with or for a character is as close to a story as this game has. For example, you may need to help a cute security guard/hall monitor get a drink as she is thirsty, or help the chick in the gym who is having trouble lifting weights. At the moment, it is all pretty basic, so I do think that they need to do something to keep the player invested and interested in what is going down inside this school.

I Can Help With That

The gameplay that we have going on here is that of a point-and-click adventure game. You need to walk around, find items, and figure out how to use them. For example, the first task you have in CAMPUS CHRONICLES is that you need to find your student ID so you can enter the building. You then need to do stuff like figure out how to get the weights off the barbell or find a drink for a cute chick in the hall. There is no real direction in the game, and you do have to just wander around clicking on everything. Thankfully, the game at least lets you know what you can and cannot click on. It does seem pretty random where you will find stuff, though, so you will have to do quite a bit of exploration. As of writing, there may not be a lot here, but what is here does have a certain kind of charm to it.

Keeping You Hooked

In the intro, I said that CAMPUS CHRONICLES was a very charming game, and that is because of those chibi-style visuals. The characters have little bodies and big heads, and everything is nice and clear and just has a ton of personality. The sex scenes in the game are all done with the in-game sprites, and these are pretty adorable. They have animation, and while they may be basic, I found them to be a lot of fun, and they did make me smile. I am not sure anyone is going to be turned on by this game, but I liked the cheeky and fun vibe that the visuals gave the game.

Cons:

• There is not much content here as of writing
• It does seem random where some of the items are
