In Beneath the Mountain you are mostly going to be dealing with evil orcs. There’s no grand mastermind behind the threat of the orcs, so you can rest assured that you are the one dealing with the threat.

Fans of exploration will also be able to enjoy this game in all its glory. If you are a fan of games like Stardew Valley, you will see some elements of that title in the discovery of resources such as gold and silver. Additionally there's an element of construction that allows you to spend those resources that you worked hard to gather. There are even elements that allow you to recruit an army, giving you the chance to fully construct an army that is capable of stopping any amount of force or threat that could come towards your blossoming Kingdom.

While Beneath the Mountain may work for certain audiences, this is definitely not a game for everyone. If the core gameplay loop of constructing buildings, training an army, and setting traps sounds like something you would enjoy, then go ahead and purchase this title. However, if you're looking for something with a bit more depth than that, in other words something with more story, you will not find it in beneath the mountain.
