Atomic Punk

He's the son of Bomberman; he's the Atomic Punk! Actually this tiny cart has three games rolled into one. In Game Number One you play the Atomic Punk, whose task is to strategically plant bombs and eradicate the enemies who've infested Ice World, Wind World, Frontier World, and Rock World. In Game Number Two you get to play big papa Bomberman and perform the same bomb-planting tasks, but at twice the level of difficulty and with only one shot at a power up. Game Number Three enables two players, via a Game Link, to compete against each other. No matter which game you're playing, you'll have a blast with Atomic Punk!

The world's been taken over by a roving pack of nuclear nasties who've imprisoned all earthlings at nine different nuclear factories. It's up to you, the awesome Atomic Punk, to blast these nukies to oblivion and save the world from Armageddon.

Atomic Punk by Hudson Soft is a classic overhead view maze game. As you quest through the factories, you'll need to discover a clever tactic to trap each type of foe. There's a new scenario at every factory, ranging from a world of warps that continually disappear and reappear in different spots to a world filled with fire.

Between factories you can stop off at your neighborhood supply store and spend the gold you earn on such luxuries as fire-up panels, which increase the range of your bombs, remote controls, and other high tech tools.

Hey, two games for the price of one! There's a second game in the cart called Bomber-man. The game-play here is similar to Atomic Punk's, but you don't purchase items, instead, you find them under rocks. You drop time bombs to blast bad guys here, too.
