Working Sakuya

Calling Working Sakuya a “game” is a bit of a stretch, but to be fair, I have played a ton of kinetic lewd visual novels and they are classed as games so it is more than fair to put this in that category. They call this a “scene viewer” and that is the best way to look at it in all honesty. However, there are some things that you have to click so there is still some interactivity here for the player to give them a little bit of control. Let me say, I freaking loved this and Sakuya may very well be the hottest anime babe that I have ever seen in a lewd game.

The Hired Help

The story that Working Sakuya tells is not the deepest, but it works really well and the execution is fantastic. Basically, Sakuya is a maid and she is working for this guy. Sakuya is kind of shy at first, but she has a dark lewd side and the progression of the game is her embracing this and becoming better if you get what I am saying. While the story is not deep, it works really well in linking the animated scenes together. Some may say that the story is rather shallow, but I actually think that it fits the whole tone and vibe of the game pretty much perfectly.

Proving That Less Is More

I want to stick with the story of Working Sakuya for just a moment. You see, some may say that the story is lacking or that it is shallow. However, how many lewd visual novels or RPGs have you played where the story may have a lot of substance, but it just goes on and on and over explains every little thing? It can be off-putting, but with this game, I feel like they got it just right for the story that they were trying to tell here. You get the gist of the relationship and who Sakuya is but without any padding or just expanding stuff for the sake of doing so.

As I said in the intro of this Working Sakuya review, Sakuya may very well be my favorite anime babe I have played with in a lewd game. She is just stunning in every single regard and you may be thinking that it is the huge boobs or the smoking hot body, but that is just part of what makes her so attractive. The artist here did an amazing job of making her face and eyes so expressive, she actually seems more like a real person, she is just so incredibly well designed! The sex scenes in this game are spectacular and feature amazing animation and all the kinds of hot and nasty sounds that you would want and expect from animations of this kind of quality. The only downside is that the game is censored and I cannot seem to find a patch anywhere. You know, I never understand why they sensor a vagina and penis in a game that is made for adults who love this kind of thing.

Pick Your Poison

While Working Sakuya is referred to as an erotic scene viewer kind of game, you do have a bit of control. On the side of the screen, you can select the sex act that is being performed as well as a few options such as speed, talk, orgasm, and so on. So while there is no actual gameplay on offer here. It at the very least does give you a few things to click on to help you feel like you are playing a game. As I said, I have played a ton of lewd kinetic visual novels over the year and they technically have even less gameplay than this and that is always deemed as being ok.

Pros:

• Sakuya is such a likable character
• She is also one of the hottest babes I have ever seen
• The animation in the sex scenes is top-tier stuff
• I found the story to be more than enough to keep me interested

Cons:

• Why did they have to have censorship in this game?
• While I liked the story, it may not have enough for some people
