When it comes to lewd games, Waifu Island is a nerd’s dream! I can say that because I myself am a nerd so do not think I am putting you down in any shape or form! This is a lewd visual novel with one of the most epic rosters of famous waifu’s I have ever seen. Another interesting thing about this game is that most of the art and animations were done with AI and it is one of the better looking games that I have seen AI be a part of.

Just A Boring Regular Life

The main character that the story of Waifu Island is built around is your everyday Joe, only he is actually called John. John is pretty much just going through the motions. He hates his job and feels really bored and unfulfilled in his life. He loves a good inner monologue and we find out about how he is all alone and just pretty much works, goes to sleep, and then works the next day. However, one day after work, things start to get a little weird, but John goes to bed as normal.

Now That Is A Wakeup Call!

When John wakes up, he quickly realizes that he does not have his typical day in front of him! Nope, John has woken up on a strange island and this island is full of all these hot babes that he has fantasized about for years. The story is basically John coming to grips with this very interesting life that stands before him, getting to know the ladies of the island better, and also trying to figure out what happened and why he is here. What I liked about the story was that it was very easy to live out this fantasy and put yourself into this lucky SOB’s shoes!

Now This Is A Cast!

As I said, Waifu Island is made with AI art and the art here is actually fantastic. We have a mixture of hotties in the game such as D.Va and Widow Maker from Overwatch. Raven from Teen Titans. Ahsoka from Star Wars, Juliette from Lollipop Chainsaw, Wonder Woman, and Princess Zelda. I am sure I am missing a couple off the top of my head, but that roster alone is freaking epic! The ladies look amazing, they have great bodies and each one has her own personality as well. I think that the art in general is really well done here and there is none of that AI weirdness that some other lewd games have. Had the developer not said that the game was made with the help of AI in the art department, I would have had no idea that these were not done by an actual person.

Losen Up A Little Won’t Ya?

When it comes to the gameplay of Waifu Island, this is a very typical lewd visual novel and the majority of what you will be doing here is just reading the story. To be honest with you, I like the story here and John’s inner monologuing on paper sounds like it would be kind of brutal, but it actually works and he comes across about as normal as you could hope in a situation like this. The dialogue between John and the ladies is a bit more of a mixed bag as some of the stuff feels a little on the stiff side and I think more humor would have made this whole thing a little better.

Pros:

• The lineup of ladies in this game is insane
• This may be the hottest Princess Zelda has ever looked
• I found the story to be rather interesting
• The AI art is some of the best I have seen

Cons:

• I do feel that a little bit of humor sprinkled around would have been great
• As I write this, more chapters are coming, but no word on when
