Twists of My Life

I was pretty shocked to hear that Twists of My Life somehow managed to get a full Western release on STEAM! It is a lewd visual novel game that has a more realistic style to the presentation and it is a game that for some strange reason I could not stop paying even though I was not exactly having the best time. I have to say the reason for this was probably because one of the characters I came across had a little bit of Scarlett Johannsen as Black Widow about her!

I Am The Law

Twists of My Life has a story that appears to be never-ending. We play as a law student and he is living a pretty normal life. Something happens with a girl and a guy and he ends up having to leave and move to a new university. Once he is there, he decides that the way to have the best life is to bang as many girls as he can.

One of the interesting aspects of the story here is that there is no game over. Instead, it just moves onto something else. While there is what I guess could be classed as a bad ending, the story does not just abruptly end.

Easy On The Eye

If you like visual novels that have more realistic looking characters then Twists of My Life may offer enough for you to stick with it for a while. When I was playing it I was impressed with the way the characters looked, there are some great looking ladies in this game including the one that looks like Black Widow which I had a thing for I am not ashamed to admit.

There is a little bit of animation here and there too which surprised me and I thought that the realistic nature of the game overall was well done and something that I did like. I get that some people like a more anime style to their visual novel games and if that is you, then this will not do it for you.

If A Tree Falls In The Woods?

Let me tell you something about Twists of My Life. So, I fired up the game played it for a few minutes, and then turned it off. I repeated the steps, but this time I unplugged and plugged back in my speakers. Why did I do this? Because this game is silent and I mean completely silent there is no sound here at all! I thought it was a problem on my end at first, but how weird is it that there is no sound in this game.

Ugh, I Will Just Go Home By Myself

Twists of My Life is not a bad game, but I would have to say it was a boring game. Had that Black Widow looking chick not caught my eye so early on, I do not think I would have played it for as long as I ended up doing so.

You have to click around a map screen, talk to girls and so on, you know what the deal is. The thing is, the game makes you repeat the same steps all the time, including having to sort the dude's breakfast out each morning. It makes for a very tedious experience.

Pros:

• There is a chick that looks like Scarlett Johansson
• The game has a real sense of style about the visuals
• You have plenty of choices to make
• There is no “game over”
• Did I mention one of the chicks looks like Black Widow?

Cons:

• The game is completely silent!!!
• It is rather boring to play!
