Let's not mess around, ThornSin is awesome, and it is one of the best action lewd games I have played! This is a really cool and action packed lewd rogue-like style of game, and one that I was hooked on. The game is not yet complete as I write this, but there is more than enough content here to keep you busy, especially if you find games of this style addictive. I am pretty sure I have done all that can be done in this game, so I wanted to get my thoughts about it down on virtual paper, before the next big update comes!

Demons Causing Trouble

As of me writing this, ThornSin is not super story-driven, but we do have a pretty cool premise and a pretty badass main character. Sister Inesia is a “battle nun,” and the town of Magheim has been devastated by demonic and evil forces. Sister Inesia is going to check it out and see what has happened here. However, when she starts looking into this, she finds that she is also looking inside herself, which may lead her down a very different path than she was expecting. While it does need fleshing out, what is here so far is pretty cool stuff.

She Needs To Look Within

One thing that I think has a ton of potential in the game is the moral type system. ThornSin has two ways that Sister Inesia can go; she has a holiness meter and a corruption one, and depending on the things you do, they will fill up. Now, at the moment, this is very, very shallow, and even in the game instruction (trust me, I have looked), I cannot see anything that really goes into detail about what this is all about. I think this is a great idea, not just from a gameplay point of view, but in how this will change the story of the game too. Hopefully, this will get fleshed out as much as I hope, as this mechanic has the potential to be pretty special.

Devastating Damage

It is the gameplay loop of ThornSin that I have found super addictive. I love rogue-like games, as a matter of fact, the last month has seen me put 30 hours into Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Splintered Fate! With this game, we have some very satisfying combat mechanics, and you have a good mixture of basic attacks that you can use on the demons. It is all played from a 3D perspective, and there are, of course, upgrades and buffs you can get at the end of each run. At the moment, I think diving into health and damage is the way to go. You can get extra attacks, but I have found that health and damage are way more useful in this state of the game. I am sure more stuff will be added, and I cannot wait for them to do so. However, right now, they have all of the bones in place for a damn fine lewd rogue-like game.

Horny Little Guys

While Sister Inesia may be super hot and possibly have the longest legs I have ever seen! ThornSin in general is a rather interesting looking game, her long legs and huge boobs are great, kind of like an even hornier looking version of the witch from Dragon’s Crown! However, the XXX content in the game with the demons is more comical than it is hot. I say this because they are so little, it is impossible to take them seriously; they remind me of the little demon guys from The Darkness. The dark and horror vibes that the game has are very awesome, I just hope that as the game moves along in development, there are more solo scenes with Sister Inesia.
