The Taming Massage Parlor – Mari's Story

I was shocked at just how much I got into The taming massage parlor – Mari's story. This is a sequel to another game, and I think that it is a fantastic continuation as it improves on that original game in pretty much every way. I did hear that the game launched rather buggy, and while I did end up with a couple of crashes, the patches have certainly helped make it a more stable kind of game. While I would say that this is best described as a sex simulator style of game, it is also a game that is very story driven.

From Bully To Geek

Let me fill you in on the back story of The taming massage parlor – Mari's story. The idea is that we have tried to make a good life for ourselves by opening up a massage parlor, in the first game, Dana, a bully and a witch with a capital B if you get what I am saying from our high school showed up, and let's just say, we got to have some fun and put to bed some real demons that we had from our days in high school. Our massage parlor is doing pretty well, but one day, a rather timid young lady walks through the door.

Wrong Place At The Wrong Time

The setup for The taming massage parlor – Mari's story is really well done, granted the opening cut scene is not exactly short, but it does make you feel a connection with Mari, the main character of this chapter. Basically, Mari is a timid, shy, and nerdy kind of girl and she has walked into our massage parlor by complete accident! Rather than just walk out, she was so embarrassed that this shy young sexually inexperienced woman has booked five massage appointments with us! The story can progress in a few different ways as there are different endings to unlock. However, I really liked Mari and it was fun to try and bring her out of her shell.

Healing Hands

The first game in the series was a bit clunky and had unnecessary mini-games that slowed down the pacing and a few other quirks that prevented it from being great. The taming massage parlor – Mari's story is a very streamlined kind of game and while on the surface it is your typical sex simulator style of game where you are trying to rub this young woman to make her feel good and so that she lets go of her inhibitions, the “massage” gameplay is fantastic as you do feel like it is your hands that are working this magic. There are also visual novel and even dating sim elements to the gameplay as you get to know her better and strike up a relationship. I will say that the game if you try and click things too fast can crawl to a halt and it even crashed on me a few times which then forced me to do all the setup again, but thankfully my actual game progress was saved.

Bush Or No Bush, That Is The Question

I love the way that The taming massage parlor – Mari's story looks, Mari is such a cutie and you can have a bit of say in the way that she looks. The best thing in this regard is the pubic hair, granted there are only a couple to choose from, but there was just something so hot about her pubic hair peeking out from her panties. The game has some nice and smooth animation and it is very much a slow burn as far as the XXX content of the game goes, do not expect to see her bent over begging for it just a few minutes into the game. The lewd content is 100 percent worth the effort the game makes you put into getting it. I loved how Mari had a more realistic look to her, she actually looked like a real woman and not some fantasy babe. Hey, I love a stacked and ripped fantasy woman as much as the next guy, but I really did like the more natural look that Mari had.

Pros:

• I just adored Mari
• I liked her personality as well as her body…. And bush!
• The gameplay was actually fun and I felt like I was in control
• The way the story progressed made me feel like I was getting to know her

Cons:

• Those crashes and forced restarts really started to bug me
• The game does need some major bug fixes to make it truly great
