The Caretaker

The Caretaker is a game that I was drawn to because of the over-the-top, exaggerated art! If you love the look of the ladies in this game as I did, you may also be like me and be able to put up with the game's less than redeeming qualities to see the next lewd scene. I actually spent quite a bit of time with this one and I would later find out that this was the first game developed by this developer and to be fair, for a first try, it is honestly not a terrible effort at all.

The Luckiest Guy In The World

I do think that the premise of The Caretaker is kind of fun. We play the role of a guy (more on him later) who has lucked into a job where he is working at this kind of hospice place that only has female clients. That is the whole build-up of the game and it is basically about this dude trying to get laid several times per day and thankfully and luckily for him, these ladies are also super horny so some of them do not require all that much convincing to get naked.

Who Am I Supposed To Like

The premise of The Caretaker is certainly pretty awesome. However, the characters here are not easy to like. The main character is a grade-A creeper and not a likable dude at all! He is a real sex pest and just tries to force himself on the chicks all the time. Hey, this is not done in a tongue-in-cheek kind of way, I get the impression we are supposed to think that he is “cool” but he just comes across as an asshole. The ladies are not much better as they are all very one-dimensional as far as their personalities go. If it were not for needing to know certain bits of information to progress certain tasks, I would probably have just skipped all of the story after a certain point.

Rolling Back The Week

Again, I do have to state that this game is a first game for this developer so please do not think I am being too harsh on The Caretaker. However, as far as lewd sandbox games go, this one is a bit on the trickier side to navigate. I say that because this game is very strict with when and where you need to do things and if you do not keep a very close eye on your tasks as if you miss the opportunity to be with a chick at a certain time or place, you may have to wait a full week to try and do that task again. To be fair, it is not doing anything worse than I have seen in some other lewd sandbox games. I highly recommend following a guide or constantly checking your tasks to make sure you are on track.

Perfect At The First Try

While I think that the story and the gameplay of The Caretaker may not be amazing, the visuals on the other hand are! I love the exaggerated look of the ladies in this game, big boobs, big asses, and thick in all the right places. If you do love this look, you will truly get a huge kick out of the character designs here. I will say that even though I did get stuck on some quests, I did find that I was getting nude content or at the very least some extremely suggestive content on a regular basis so that did kind of drive me on and keep playing.

Pros:

• I loved the big boobs
• Hey, the big asses are awesome too
• In general, I got a kick out of the whole exaggerated style of the visuals
• For a first try, this is honestly not horrible so hopefully the developer can learn from this

Cons:

• The main character is not likable at all
• The gameplay is very confusing and frustrating in places
