The Assistant

While it may not be the most groundbreaking lewd visual novel, The Assistant is still a game that I had a very good time with. If you are looking for a visual novel that is very easy to play through, is not taking itself too seriously, and has a lot of sex, you cannot go wrong with this one. I am getting kind of sick of these long winded and boring lewd visual novels that think they are some kind of literary masterpiece! That is not the case here, this game proudly wears what it is on its sleeve and I am very cool with that.

Turning Into A Dream Job

The plot of The Assistant is very easy to get into. The main character that we play as in the game is this in his 30s dude who is pretty average, but he has somehow managed to score a pretty awesome job. One of the wealthiest families in the town has hired him to be their assistant and it just so happens that there are many good looking women in this family so it is a job that certainly has its perks.

You Used Me For Land Development!

That was a little SpongeBob reference for you there and if you got it, bravo! Anyway, The Assistant also throws a bit of a curve ball at you. You see as well as dealing with the family, it turns out there is some shady goings on with property development and you soon end up having to deal with gangsters as well as your usual assistant duties! Look, the story is not amazing, but it is easy to get through and kind of fun so I give the developer a lot of props for that.

Are You Gonna Go My Way!

Now I am quoting Lenny Kravits? Man, this The Assistant review has really taken on a life of its own! Anyway, this is a lewd visual novel game and as you would have probably guessed, you get to choose the way things unfold. It is pretty basic in that there is no having to do a whole lot of everyday mundane things here. Usually, it is a case of talking to a chick, doing what she wants, and then getting to bang her. It is a pretty formulaic gameplay loop, but I liked it even if it was simple and I am not exactly sure how much your choices affect the overall plot!

All In The Family!

Visually, The Assistant I feel does a good job. The ladies in the game are a good mixture of younger women and milfs and I like how the milfs do actually look older. The characters have a kind of realistic look to them, but they all have nice bodies and big boobs which is always a plus! The animations here are not going to win any awards, but I would much rather have them than not.

Pros:

• I liked how you could be good or bad
• The story was pretty fun
• The character renders and the animations are solid
• Overall, this was a very fun experience

Cons:

• I am not sure I would play it a second time, it was more of a one and done for me
• Games like this would be even better with voice acting
