Taiwan Love Story

Taiwan Love Story is a game that I had been meaning to get around to for a few weeks, but a weekend alone and free meant I was finally able to give the game the attention it deserves. This is a lewd dating sim style of game. I refuse to call this a visual novel as it actually has some pretty varied gameplay, far more than I was expecting. Also, with five very attractive women to get to know and have fun with, the game has a lot of replay value for you to sink your teeth into.

Studying The Art Of Love

We play as a young college student, and the title of Taiwan Love Story is very fitting, as that is where the game is set. We end up on this college camping trip, and it is here that we meet five very attractive women, and then we have an idea! We will write our college thesis on love, and of course, in order to do this, we will need to date these five women. This takes us all over the place as we get to know these ladies, have fun, and of course, complete our “research” as well.

All Over Taiwan!

The five girls that we will get to know in Taiwan Love Story are Amy, who is a clumsy office worker, but super cute. Amanda is a bookworm who has a love for art, but a disapproving father. Zoe is our crazy chick who is fit and, from what I could gather, a diver. Lil Blu is a tough girl gangster chick, but she has a good heart. Last, but by no means least, we have our milf, Sarah who is married, but we won’t let that get in our way! One interesting story choice here is that these ladies are based all over Taiwan, meaning that we can date them all without them running into each other. It is a small detail, but I think it makes the game work even better.

Working On Love

The gameplay we have here in Taiwan Love Story is a lot of fun. You have visual novel and dating sim gameplay where you get to know the ladies, say the right thing, make them happy, and so on. You do this so that they like you and, of course, so that you can ultimately have sex with them. However, in addition to this, we have some pretty neat mini-games that have a real arcade style about them, which was something I thought was a lot of fun. There is one where you are on a moped zipping between traffic. Another has you playing a grab/claw machine style of game, and there is a shooting gallery type game too. These help add to the fun, and they also make sense as far as the story goes, too.

Beauty With A Beat

Visually, Taiwan Love Story is one of the most stunning looking games I have seen in quite some time. Each of our five ladies has her own style, and I loved how they all had a unique vibe about them. The artwork here is just stunning and I love how we get to see each lady be cute and “normal” however, the XXX content here is very extreme and best of all, it is not censored! While we have these amazing looking character portraits and art pieces, there are also chibi versions of the characters and these are freaking adorable and just give the game even more personality!

Pros:

• Each of the five ladies was great in her own way
• I was blown away by the quality of the art
• The gameplay has some fun arcade style mini-games
• Do not let the cuteness fool you, this game is very, very XXX!

Cons:

• Some may not like the mini-games
• Animated sex scenes could have made this a 10/10 game for me!
