While I am not a smoker, SugarKiss! Being themed around a cool badass chick who loves to smoke intrigued me, so I decided to give this kinetic lewd visual novel a try.

Love At First Light

As this is a visual novel, I will try not to give too much away about the plot. The basics are that we have this hot older sister called Yuki, and she loves to smoke, so she is always hanging out at the house's designated smoking area. We end up hanging out with her, chatting about stuff that we like, such as video games and, of course, smoking. When one thing leads to another, things start to get very hot indeed!

In or Out?

I have already said that SugarKiss! Is a kinetic lead visual novel, so that lets you know what kind of “gameplay” experience you are in for here. This is one of those games where you just watch as the story unfolds. Thankfully, the writing is pretty well done, and there were only a couple of translation issues, but for the most part, it all made sense. However, despite me saying this is a kinetic lewd visual novel, the game does give you one choice to make right at the end, so in that regard, there is a bit of replay value here as you have two ways that their fun can come to an end.

Taking A Drag

Even though smoking does nothing for me, Yuki is super hot, and if you do have a smoking fetish, there are several scenes where she is holding her cigarette. She is pretty much all you see the whole time you are playing the game, but as she is so easy on the eyes, I am more than willing to let that pass! The game has this very bright and vibrant kind of art style, and in all, I am very impressed by the quality of the art work here.

Pros:

• Yuki is a great-looking character
• I liked the relationship between the two
• The game looks fantastic
• You have two ways to bring the story to an end

Cons:

• The smoking thing is not for everyone
• Once you see both endings, that is it
