There Was a time, many years ago, when the words "A Chris Roberts Production" would be followed by something other than the words "straight to video". Wing Commander was the biggest thing in PC gaming back in the early '90s whatever you thought about it (check it out in Games That Its biggest problem. But like all tortured artists, Roberts was keen not to be pigeonholed. Hence Strike Commander. Which, naturally enough, proved to be little more than all the hype) was that the meat of the game - the flying bits - just weren’t very good. This left gamers with fancy, yet uninvolving storyline populated mainly with oddly symmetrical talking heads.
Wing Commander but with F-16s who communicated all signs of emotion instead of space ships. through eye movements (looks from Basically it’s set in the near-future side to side guilty). It also demanded, and the world has fallen apart. Combat as did everything from Origin, the is in the hands of big business and absolute latest in PC technology, missions are flown by freelance pilots For good or ill, the game tanked, leaving like yourself. Gameplay-wise it was Roberts to slink back to his one true love identical to its space-based cousin - the Wing Commander series, which he watch an animation bit, pick a few then spent the next six years working options, fly a mission, watch some more on until the 'classic’ (for all the wrong animations, pick a few more options, fly reasons) motion picture. Lesson? another mission, repeat to fade. Stick to what you're good at.

Game Reviews
An ideological mercenary outfit may seem something of a contradiction in terms. However that is how the team of Strike Commander see themselves. In a world where nation states have broken up to be replaced by all powerful multi national corporations they are the nearest thing to the good and the pure. This set up is the cue for some outstanding 3D flight action in a cinematic environment. With two types of fighters to fly and fourteen different types to shoot down, the game promises to be "the most powerful 3D system ever written for a PC.
