State of Emergency 2 is a sequel to the popular game State of Emergency, released in 2003. The game is an action game with third-person shooter elements. The action takes place several years after the events of the first part. Players again find themselves in a world where the government and corporations control all aspects of life. The protagonist, a member of the resistance, must fight against the oppressors and free the city from tyranny. The plot includes many missions involving sabotage, hostage rescue and destruction of enemy facilities.
