SpaLife

Please note that as I write this, SpaLife is in very, very early development so there is not a ton of content in the game. However, the developer is really cool and has been doing a great job of keeping people updated on what is going on with the development of the game. So far, I think that they have some neat ideas for a game here and that as a proof of concept, the bones are certainly here. I would say that it is kind of like a sex simulator style of game with the potential to have some management options sprinkled on top.

Working 9 To 5? No Thanks

One of the things that I loved about SpaLife, even in its early build is the premise of the story. We play as a guy who works in some kind of tech support call center and sure, he makes ok money and has a stable job. But it sucks and he wants more of life. The game actually namedrops Pornhub which I thought was hilarious! You see, our MC has been checking out XXX massage videos and he has the inspiration to use the spare room in his place as a massage studio so that he can offer his erotic massage services to his clients.

A Great Idea….. In Theory

The twist in SpaLife is that while he has this amazing idea and he has certainly watched a lot of videos about how to get chicks off with an erotic massage. Our MC has no actual massage skills, no real money to build his business and he also has no clients. To say that he is starting at the bottom is a massive understatement. However, he has a can-do attitude and I think that it is very easy for the players to put ourselves into this guy's shoes as we try and help his dreams come true. Let's face it, we have all had jobs that suck the soul out of us and have dreamed of something more fun, but never had the chance to make it happen, well this guy is taking that leap and that is awesome!

Setting Things Up

As I said, SpaLife is a game that is in very early development, well the version I am talking about here is. The goal of the game is to make money, build up our client list, and become better at giving erotic massages. Each lady has three stats that we need to keep an eye on these are, mood, satisfaction, and heat. We also have our own stats which are, reputation, massage skill, and sensual skill. You need to massage the client to make her feel good and when she is comfortable enough, you get to the XXX stuff. As you would expect, there is a bit of grinding here with getting her to that point, but it never felt like a chore. While there is not much content here, I think that they have a great idea and all that they need to do is build on it.

Making The Right Choice

Let me tell you as soon as that first client comes to you in SpaLife, you know that this guy made the right choice! The one I got was called Angie (I think off the top of my head) and she was gorgeous, she had a great, realistic looking body that was toned and tanned to perfection. I will say that I think they could have made her bit a bit more expressive in the face, but again, this is a very early build. I will say that the game looks great in general and you do feel like you are actually massaging this chick and trying to get her off!

Pros:

• I loved the premise of the game
• It is easy to put yourself in the MC’s shoes
• The ladies look amazing
• The potential of this game is through the roof!

Cons:

• The build I played had very little content
• While the ladies are hot, they could do with more facial animations
