Secrets of Sorcery

Secrets of Sorcery is a lewd adventure game that has a really cool art style and a bunch of cute anime babes, that alone is enough to make me take notice and want to try any game out. I am not 100 percent certain that as I write this the game is complete, but I do think that there is plenty of fun stuff to keep you entertained here. I get the impression the developer has some pretty big ideas but just wanted to get the bones and foundation for their story out there first.

A Big New Start

The story of Secrets of Sorcery is rather hard to follow as it never really tells you a great deal. We play as a young guy who is just going to start his first semester at Dusuka Academy which is interesting as this place is like 90 percent female students and faculty and that puts us in a very interesting situation. Our stepmom has some kind of secret and once we get there, we realize that things are not exactly what we thought they would be. If I am being brutally honest, I have no idea where this is going or what the point is, but it was easy enough to get through.

Building Relationships

The main character in Secrets of Sorcery is a bit of a horn dog who is obsessed with boobs and as I said, this place is packed with female students so he is going to try and bang as many of them as he can! There are quite a few characters in the game that you will get to chat with and know better as you progress through the game and I did find myself getting connected to some of them. I will say that there is a bit of a juvenile kind of humor to the characters and I can see that being off-putting for some people, but I kind of dug it and got a kick out of it, but I do have an immature sense of humor so what the heck do I know.

Clicking Till Her Clothes Come Off!

Without a doubt Secrets of Sorcery falls into that lewd sandbox adventure genre, but there is not a ton of depth to the gameplay here. The game could really do with some kind of quest log or hint system to point you in the right direction. However, despite that, it is very easy to just click around and stumble into where you are supposed to go next or find the person you need to talk to. There is some kind of affection system so I do feel that they wanted there to be a dating sim element to the game as well, but this is kind of odd as the points just go up whenever you spend time with someone, there does not seem to be any strategy required for this aspect of the game.

Time For The Panty Raid

The visuals of Secrets of Sorcery are kind of fun, it has a sort of anime look about it. I would say that it is kind of like if Atlus decided to try and make a more budget kind of Persona game if that makes sense. There is a decent amount of lewd content here, but the XXX scenes are just crying out to be fully animated! There are some very nice looking ladies in this game, but I found them the hottest when our MC would be creeping on them and see one of them in a thong as they were reaching for something or looking down their shirt. I liked the art style as it is very colorful, but I would not argue with anyone who said that they felt like it was too basic.

Pros:

• I got a kick out of the all girls school
• They do have something here with the story
• There are plenty of nice looking female characters in the game
• With just a bit more work, this could be something very special

Cons:

• The story does not make much sense and is quite lacking
• The gameplay needs to be fleshed out more to make it more interesting
