The story of this game starts out super strong. Our main character is a vampire called Alaire Lacroix. We get to experience his life through the ages and time, all over the world, and all of the incredible things that he experienced. There is a weird relationship with his mother, but that turns out to be pretty important. This is the kind of story where you have to pay attention to it all, as there is so much stuff happening.

Turning The Pages Of History

As I said, the story of Sanguis et Imperium is pretty complex, but the gameplay is very much that of a typical lewd visual novel. The twist here is that the story is so complex, you need to really focus, as the choices can lead to some pretty big consequences. If I am being honest, I would have to say that there is nothing all that groundbreaking as far as the choice-based gameplay goes, but it all works really well.

Without a doubt, the visuals of Sanguis et Imperium are going to be what brings a lot of people to it. This is a game that goes for a more realistic looking art style, well as real as vampires can be of course. The game has some very hot sex scenes and while the XXX content was great, I liked the various iconic locations and settings from all over the world.
