Rendezvous with a Lonely Girl in a Dark Room

I was drawn to Rendezvous with a Lonely Girl in a Dark Room because of the very mysterious title that the game has in addition to the fantastic pixel art that the game offers. This is kind of like a lewd visual novel where it is a relatively short experience and the kind of game that is probably not going to be for everyone as it does have some darker themes running through it. I will say that while this is a Japanese game, there is an English translation for it.

My Whole Life Is One Big Dark Room

A little Beetlejuice reference for you there to start this thing off with. Story wise, Rendezvous with a Lonely Girl in a Dark Room is pretty dark. We have this very cute girl who is pretty much living in a single room and she has been bullied, and abused and she is just generally very shy, quiet, and untrusting due to the things that she has been through. It is quite a dark kind of setup, to be honest with you and I found that trying to lighten things up and be there for her made this quite a compelling game to play. I will say that the story is not for everyone that is for sure, but it did connect with me and I truly did feel bad for this woman.

Not Too Young

I have played many lewd games over the years that have put me off because the characters look too young and Rendezvous with a Lonely Girl in a Dark Room is a game that from what I have read, some people say that the main girl is too young. From what I experienced there was nothing in the actual story that said she was super young, I felt that she came across as someone in their early 20s, but that could be just how I saw it to be fair. I do have a very low tolerance for games with girls that look to you and I can tell you that this game did not turn me off in that regard so take that for what it is worth.

Touching And Feeling

Gameplay wise, Rendezvous with a Lonely Girl in a Dark Room has more going on than you may be expecting. This is a game where you are basically trying to gain the affection of the girl so that she will have sex with you. You pretty much have to touch and please her by doing the same thing over and over again and this is how you will build up your relationship with her. There is this weird little mini-game with a slime that is kind of fun and as the game does have you doing the same thing over and over again, it was a nice change of pace. For some people, this could be a one and done kind of game where you just play through it, take the scenes you get, and then call it a day. However, if you do want to see all of the lewd scenes, you will have to do the same thing many times over.

Pixel Happiness And Sadness

I already talked about the design of the girl and to be, she is fine, she does not look too young. Rendezvous with a Lonely Girl in a Dark Room goes for a really stylish kind of vibe with its pixel art, they manage to show a lot of personality with this girl and the artist has done a fantastic job. I will say that there is a lot of feet stuff in this game so if that is one of your kinks, you are going to love what this is doing. However, it does have a lot of other stuff going on as well and there is something for everyone here, but I will say that the person who made the game is clearly into feet as that does seem to be the focus.
