Rain World: The Watcher

Rain World: The Watcher is a dystopian metroidvania about the continuing adventures of a slugcat in a post-apocalyptic world. The main character's whole family disappeared after the attack of another slime cat, so he travels the world alone. Suddenly he meets an entity that calls itself the Echo. Echoes is connected to the past, he strokes the dark blue slimesnake with his small golden paws and tells him that he is now named Watcher. Together they will explore an abandoned industrial world to discover the fate of the protagonist's family and the cause of the environmental disaster that left the world rotting. Watcher is weak, but knows how to fight. The trademark of the authors - it is the mystical plot, rather than blurred uncertainty. Throughout each new level, the game gives certain clues, making you search harder for the truth.

Game Features

• This is an expansion to the original Rain World, and it looks a lot more like it than the second part of Rain World: Downpour
• Eat dead animals to regain power, and use flowers in special glades to regain karma.
• There are a lot of dead end areas on the map, so get ready to spend a lot of time just exploring offshoots that lead nowhere
• New monsters sandworm, locust, frog, pus buzzard, boneshaker
• The game has two alternate endings, with the Ancients and with the Prince
